New Taekwondo America Sr Partner Mr. Bill Mischke
6th Degree Black Belt
Owner of Flower Mound Taekwondo
Flower Mound, TX (Dallas suburb)

Mr. Mischke started his martial arts training in 1983 when he was 23. A high school friend had opened a martial arts school nearby and invited him to try a class.

He earned his first Black Belt in 1986, but then stopped training for several years in the 1990’s. In 2002 he started working out again and just a few years later opened his own school in Flower Mound.

In his own words, what he loves about being a martial arts school owner in a great organization like Taekwondo America: “Most people go to work at a job they don’t like to make money for someone else. I get to do what I love every day and make money for me and my own family. I get to work with great people from around the country that are all part of a first rate organization.”

In addition to martial arts, Mr. Mischke love scuba diving and  snow skiing. He also enjoys world travel, and has been all over the Caribbean, six European countries, Israel, Egypt, and China!

His advice to potential new and future school owners: “Open in a great residential area with great demographics – lots of families with disposable income.  After that, teach great classes and get great word-of-mouth from students and parents. You have to just do it!  You know you want to, don’t let fear hold you back!”
